Starting in just 4 weeks, the most exciting and powerful rock 'n' roll show in the world is coming to the stadiums of Europe. Kicking off on Saturday May 27, 2006 at Barcelona's Olympic Stadium, The Rolling Stones - A Bigger Bang European Tour - will play over twenty countries at the most famous stadiums and venues in the world. There will be 36 European concert dates in 2006 including performances in Spain, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Italy Greece, Croatia, Serbia, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal and the UK. The Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang will also visit Russia - their first return visit since 1998's Bridges To Babylon tour.

Continuing their tradition of bringing some of the hottest acts - both legendary and new - to their fans, The "Rolling Stones: A Bigger Bang" World Tour announced today that multi-platinum rockers GUNS N' ROSES will join the bill in both Nurnberg July 10th at Frankenstadion and in Leipzig July 12th at Zentralstadion.

They are known as one of the most controversial and popular American Rock Bands of all times. They have sold over 85 million albums. They are the only act to hold the top two album spots in both the UK and US on the week of releasing both records with Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. Their album, "Appetite for Destruction" holds titles for the Greatest Guitar Album Ever (Total Guitar, June 2003), Greatest Metal Album (Spin, July 2003), #1 Essential Hard Rock Album (Kerrang! March 2004), and their rock-anthem November Rain holds the #1 spot on Dutch Veronica radio for the number 1 song (December 2004). Ma porca di quella... ahio'!  #31 Questa si che è una notizia! Devo assolutamente andarci. I Guns aprono ancora un concerto degli Stones... pazzesco.  #14
Magari (o senza magari) ci scappa pure qualche duetto. No non ci devo pensare altrimenti parte il coccolone

06.02.06 Keith Richards Is Given The All Clear To Get Back To Work As Stones Announce New Itinerary For European Shows

With the news that Keith Richards has made a complete recovery from his accident and is ready to return to the concert stage, The Rolling Stones have unveiled today their re-vamped European Tour Schedule.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts will now kick off their 'A Bigger Bang' European Tour at the world famous San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy on Tuesday, 11 July 2006.

There will be 21 stadium dates in 11 countries across Europe and these shows will be all the Stones will be doing in the summer of 2006. Concert promoters CPI/TNA have made every effort to accommodate fans in as many countries and cities as possible.

The new tour itinerary is as follows:

The Rolling Stones concerts that were originally announced to take place in Barcelona, Madrid (Spain), Brussels (Belgium), Gothenburg (Sweden), St Petersburg (Russia), Brno (Czech Republic), Warsaw (Poland), Athens (Greece), Zagreb (Croatia), and Frankfurt (Germany) are POSTPONED. Concert promoters are in the process of re-scheduling these cities and there will be news of these shortly. They ask ticket holders to hold on to their tickets and await further announcements.

The 2006 Rolling Stones Concerts in NURNBERG & LEIPZIG are CANCELLED.

Michael Cohl, World Tour Promoter, commented "We are delighted to announce the Stones tour is back on track and thank all the fans and ticket holders for their patience. We have put in as many shows in as many countries as was feasible. This is still going to be the most incredible rock show ever."

Keith Richards added "Excuse me, I fell off of my perch! Sorry to disrupt everyone's plans but now - It's FULL STEAM AHEAD! Ouch!!"
